The Dancing Cat lounge will re-open as soon as possible, but adoptions are still happening!
On the afternoon of September 2nd, 2025 an SUV crashed into the entrance of The Dancing Cat. While the building has sustained significant damage, we are grateful that all of the cats remained unharmed and did not escape. One volunteer suffered a minor injury and is expected to recover. All cats who were currently residing in our lounge have been evacuated to foster homes and are still available for adoption.
We are devastated to board up our doors while we figure out all of the next steps in the rebuild process. At this time we have no idea how long the process will take and what it will entail as we work with professionals to assess and determine how to make repairs.
We are shaken up and understandably saddened by these events, but want to thank everyone who has already reached out offering their help. We are going to re-open The Dancing Cat as soon as possible!
